Council was flooded with emails from citizens of Rio Verde. We addressed their questions, and voted 7-0 to support the formation of the Rio Verde Foothills water district. This was a great example of Council listening to and serving the citizens, while ensuring Scottsdale citizens have the water they need moving forward.

Two south Scottsdale residents invited me to meet with several small businesses in the South Scottsdale community that have been significantly impacted by the pandemic. I spent 2 hours touring and talking to the owners of Echo Coffee, Walter Art Gallery, Hot Yoga University, and Fate Brewery.

At the last council meeting we received the current financial update, and our city is in excellent financial shape.
