Tammy Caputi grew up in Boston and has lived in Scottsdale for the past twenty years. Arizona is her home. She is the owner of Yale Electric West, Inc, (www.yalewest.com), a company she founded in 2001 in Scottsdale, AZ.

Yale Electric West is a distributor/supplier of electrical products specializing in commercial construction projects. Yale Electric West is certified as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) with the City of Phoenix, and has been involved in the construction of hundreds of commercial projects in Greater Phoenix and beyond. Tammy has spent the last 20 years lighting up the Phoenix Valley, and now she is passionate about lighting up the State with her experience and common sense values.

Tammy has a B.A. from Wellesley College in Economics and Women’s Studies and an MBA from Simmons College Graduate School of Management. She is active in the Phoenix Jewish Community, in her local legislative district, in her children’s schools, and in the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce. She currently serves on the City of Scottsdale Development Review Board. She is a past board member of Arizona List, a local organization that supports Progressive Women running for public office in Arizona. She has been interested in health and fitness all her life and participates regularly in many outdoor activities and physical pursuits. She has been married for fourteen years, and has three young daughters who attend school in the Paradise Valley School District. She is energized and outspoken and committed to working towards a better government that represents our shared American values of opportunity for all, responsibility from all, and community that includes all.
